Medical Institutions seeking funding to subsidize costs associated with introducing and/or expanding VR/AR360° medical technologies to transform patient engagement and provide access regardless of socioeconomic status can apply by submitting the following items to

  • Summary of how patient engagement has been a priority in the institution

  • Description of the plan for how VR/AR360° medical technology will be utilized to transform patient engagement

  • Overview of how the institution plans to provide access to the technology to underserved communities and low-income populations

  • Amount requested, intended use of funds.

  • Overall budget for use, including funding sources other than grant moneys

  • Biography and contact information for the department head responsible for implementing and managing the technology

  • A letter signed by all key stakeholders confirming that the institution will use the funding in accordance with the grant description outlined above.


All applications will be acknowledged via email upon time of receipt.  Applications will be reviewed as they are received and awarded on a rolling basis as funding is available.  Applicants are encouraged to apply early as limited funds for grants are available and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.  Candidates may apply for a second grant, but the Grants committee will give priority to first time applicants. 

The Empower360 Foundation reserves the right to deviate from these guidelines on a case-by-case basis when special circumstances arise.
